The Gapper hails from Prior Lake, MN. He joined Lone Tree during the latter part of the 2001 season, when he secured his spot as 2nd line center. Gapper is one of the few Tree members to gain experience in the minor leagues with the Anchorage Eskimo's. There he learned his gritty style of play, which often lands him in the sin bin...but wow...what a shot!!
